Excellent service. We ordered the Melinda roll, hibachi sea scallops, and a couple other rolls. All were very good! A pleasant surprise in a small town.

ABSOLUTELY incredible!! The atmosphere was delightful. The staff was amazing beyond words. The Yamato in my hometown makes a delicious spicy tuna roll that is my absolute favorite, and I was dismayed to not find a comparable roll in the menu here. I simply asked the sushi chef if he could make one for me if I learned the ingredients, and without hesitation, he agreed. I called my hometown Yamato and they gladly spoke to the sushi chef, sharing the recipe, and I was able to enjoy my favorite roll, The Pauline Roll. He was so kind and never acted as though my request was an imposition.

We eat here almost every time we are in Morehead. Awesome sushi, their hibachi selections are amazing! Great prices!

Excellant menu trust me my mother is Japanese so I know good Japanese food

It was good. We enjoyed everything except the salad dressing which they only had "yum yum" sauce, but asides that we enjoyed everything.

They always have fast, friendly service. The food is always amazing. Especially the sushi. It's fairly inexpensive, and some of the best sushi I've ever had. I would recommend to anyone.

Place is clean, service is good and food is yummy. Their spicy crab roll is one of my favs.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, delicious food. We loves going here for lunch or dinner dates!The only criticism I really have is their bathrooms have a weird smell and are a little dingy.

Amazing food and the service was great. He memorized all of our orders and was fast to bring food to the table which was unexpected since we had never been there before.I had the beef fried rice and spicy shrimp roll and it was amazing as well. The beef was cooked perfectly and the rice one of if not the best I've had. The shrimp rolls were perfect in every way. Unfortunately I didn't think to get pictures of my food but my daughter got some of her general Taos chicken, sides and bubble tea.

Good sushi. Bento box. Soup, salad and fried rice. Excellent service and food.

My niece and I decided to change things up for once so happy we did absolutely awesome my first time here!! We loved it I do believe we have a new favorite!! Service is wonderful as well

I love the food here and their decent prices. The customer service is friendly as well. Great place to meet up with a friend for dinner or take home. Good lunch prices as well if you have the time to head in for lunch. Sushi/sashimi option in Wilmington too. The only other options would be a Chinese resturaunt (bleck) or grocery store sushi..lol. Their hibachi and bento boxes are great as well you get a good amount of food.

Was pretty good. It had a nice selection of food, even one the kids menu. The food tasted great, enough to take back home to have more later. Sushi was amazing too

Their Salmon, black pepper chicken, steak hibachi and vegetable hibachi is amazing. The lobster rangoons are amazing. Service is fast and good, lunch prices are good, dinner prices... Not so great. Several of my friends love their sushi. I can't comment on sushi.

I eat here pretty regularly. For Morehead it's pretty good. Try the Pad Thai and some sushi.

Very nice place to eat. Great sushi.. great food (we got the steak and shrimp, spicy crab roll, and spicy girl.. which is spicy salmon). Nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. Prices are comparable to most Japanese steakhouses.

You get a good amount for what you pay for and the food is good. I got the salmon teriyaki bento box and it was really good.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is delicious. Will definitely be returning often.

Great food and great service. One of the few restaurants that I would recommend in Morehead.

Out of Control and California Roll were delicious! Much better than the Shogun or Fuji restaurants in Ashland. Highly recommend the Gyoza and fried noodles.

Wonderful food in a small town atmosphere

The food was pretty good. We were served exclusively by children, they did well enough but by nature are not attentive servers.

Best fried rice in the region. Very good sushi! I have tried many items on the menu and have yet to try something I didn't love. Service is fast and friendly. Easily at the top of my list of best place to eat in morehead.

This place isn't amazing but it is food you can eat and not feel bad about going. The hibachi is mediocre, the sushi is about average, the hot tea is awesome and the soup is great.

This was an unexpected find while I visited nearby rural areas. Delicious food and generous portions. Several veggie choices, including a good tofu dish.

Love the food here, they have been open for years and I never tried, I can’t believe I wasted so much time when I could have been eating here.

Tried the Shrimp Tempura and American Dream rolls and they were fantastic. The lobster Rangoon tasted fantastic but was served just way too hot. The miso soup didn’t taste as fresh as I’d like, but had good flavor nonetheless. The staff were all very polite and smiling. I would definitely come back.

Very well made sushi in an unlikely place. Overlook the hot tea served in a plastic tumbler.

Would be three stars, but it was well made and very clean. If you like Hibachi or sushi, then you'll probably like this place. Not much variety, but the food is well prepared. I much prefer Mongolian Grill or the local China Cafe.

Delicious food. Great customer service.. doesn’t hurt that it’s next to Blessed Mama Boutique also, I love that I can park and eat and shop. 10/10

We were on a long road trip and didn't want fast food. Checked reviews and tried this place. I have other favorites for Japanese food near home, but this place was fine. Service was prompt and friendly. Hibachi food was good and served pretty quick, hot and tasty. Didn't try the sushi.

The Pad Thai Chicken was delicious, nice and spicy too!
